When putting together the Online Casino Database, I have tried to use my recent yet extensive experience to present the information in a more informative manner with a little more honesty than many other online casino review sites. The idea is that I think it is important for players to understand a little more about the online casino industry, and to understand just what constitutes the good, the bad and the ugly. If you are worried about the law, then check out the online gambling law page that focuses on the US and Europe.

That said, I haven't included the "ugly" online casinos in the database. There are some shady joints out there but thankfully as the online casino industry consolidates, these are often disappearing into a place where they deserve to be. In terms of what I would call a "bad online casino", I define this as being one that is safe to play, but doesn't treat it's players as well as the "good online casinos". I have stopped short of providing online casino reviews but most of what you find here are "good". And where I believe an online casino isn't doing as much as it should to compete, I have included such information in my "comments" available within each online casino datasheet you see on the Casinotabs website.

Hopefully you will also start to learn a little more about the online casino industry and the operators as a consequence of this approach. It's not uncommon for players to try several online casinos before they settle at one or two and while many are tempted by online casino signup bonuses, these are, in my opinion, not indicative of a good online casino.
